We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly administrator with sound customer service skills and high attention to detail. The successful candidate will be expected to respond to new and existing customer enquiries over the telephone and via email, assist with the smooth flow of incoming orders out to the drivers, whilst up selling all aspects of the company to customers at all times. Ensuring an exceptional level of accuracy at all times is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming calls from new and existing customers
  • Booking customer orders onto the skip operations system
  • Where applicable processing credit card payments
  • Applying to local authorities regarding road permits
  • Liaising with drivers for customer ETA’s
  • Ensuring that all bookings for the next day are entered onto the system and printed before the end of the day
  • Reconciling completed job sheets on the system
  • Reconciling completed job sheets for invoicing
  • End of Day banking on the PDQ machine
  • Maintaining job sheet archive records
  • Liaising with the sanitation department
  • Covering the Weighbridge office as required
  • Other office duties as required
  • Call arounds to generate sales
  • Up selling at all times
  • Meeting sales targets

  • Own transport to and from work is essential as we are not on a public transport route
  • Experience is desirable but not essential as all training is provided
